“They could feel that there are kind-hearted people all around the world and love has no boundaries. Helping and taking care of children in orphanages is our duty, and also is the common desire of all the people in the world. Let us try our best together to help those children.”

— Thank you letter from Yingtan Social Welfare Institute

Dear FCC Families and Friends,

It has become a tradition for FCC members and friends to commemorate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day with a gift to FCC New England’s Foundation for Chinese Orphanages. The Mother’s Day Appeal is a unique opportunity to both honor special individuals important in our lives and those of our children, and to sponsor foster care for a child in China. Each $25 donation you make will support a child in foster care for a month.

Each individual you honor with a donation will receive a beautiful card featuring the Chinese character for love. The cards are personalized with the honoree’s name, the name(s) of those doing the honoring, and the number of months of foster care that you have sponsored. You can choose to have the card sent directly to the honoree, or it can be sent to you so you can add your own message before presenting the card to the honoree.

FCC New England’s Foundation for Chinese Orphanages has been a leader in sponsoring foster care in China, and our efforts have helped to make foster care the standard that orphanages seek to achieve. Foster care is the single most effective means of helping a baby or young child develop normally. Your generous support will help us to continue this important program.

We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to efficiently fulfill your Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gift needs, and at the same time support a program that is heartfelt to all of us in the FCC community.
